I believe in engaging, challenging, and inclusive classrooms that encourage critical thinking, creativity, and resilience.   • Developed and implemented creative lesson plans and projects that encouraged student collaboration, risks in learning, and choice (Shakespeare performance project, family budget assignment for No Promises in the Wind, a text set during the Great Depression).
  • Incorporated technology to increase differentiation and critical thinking (student-created podcasts about books, audiobooks, and student choice on assignments).
