I was one of 6 employees in the State of Missouri who designed training curriculum to provide training to new hires and on-going training to probation and parole staff. In addition, I kept all training files and documentation for the St. Louis region. this position was under the Human Resources department of the Department of Corrections and I held this position for approximately 15 years as the training coordinator.

Regular duties included case management, attending court hearings and preparing reports for the court, assessing the needs of client's and monitoring the safety of the community. This position required community awareness skills and the ability to network within the community with area resources and agencies. It required patience and the ability to form good working relationships with people as well as good communication skills.
