I specialize in working with teenagers to ensure safety while in the process of aiding them into overcoming the barriers that brought them into the care and custody of the agency. Services such as education support, behavioral and psychological supportive services as needed. Depending on age, referrals are made to independent living and skills programming as well as helping young adults to learn how to navigate reunification if at all possible, or as an individual plan of permanency into adulthood. I work frequently with both Juvenile and Adult Corrections in providing these services as well.

I prepare reports for the Court to provide updates on progress of the parties in the case and have testified in several contentious cases where the rights of parents were terminated.

I have completed several hours of trainings for crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, active listening as well as critical thinking and collaborative problem solving to name just a few.
