Volunteer

Pregnancy Resource Centers of Central Oregon
10.2021 - 09.2023

Volunteered twice a week, 4 hours at a time, to learn the operating systems of Cool Focus and Bright Course.

Helped front desk operations which included answering phones, competently delivering messages, client/donor interaction, setting appointments for clients. and receiving donations,

Eventually shadowed for advocacy and began working directly with clients.

Learned to keep client confidentiality a must at all times with folders overturned on the desk and names never repeated when another person was in the room.

Opened at the beginning of the week on Mondays and closed at the end of the week on Thursdays to catch an overall glimpse of the work week and to also work with our nurse on Thursdays.

Loved working with the other advocates and gleaned all I could from their knowledge.
