Volunteer Experience

While living in Kentucky, I worked closely with the Logan County Athletic Boosters, specifically for cross country as their treasurer from 2018-2020. I worked collaboratively with the other boosters and the coach to buy team equipment in a sport that was not well-funded by the school system, and all students had transportation to races as well as the supplies they needed to be successful.

I worked with Russellville High School each spring as part of their senior review board representing Logan County Public Library as part of a panel reviewing senior capstone projects and offering positive feedback as Russellville's seniors embarked on their next chapter in life.

I now volunteer for the Open World Learning Athletic Boosters. OWL receives no money from the district for archery, volleyball, or ultimate frisbee. I have served since 2021 as treasurer and was recently elected president. We ensure every child has a bow and their meet costs are covered. We believe all children should have access to sports, regardless of the ability to pay.
