• Mentored over 20 teachers in best practices for differentiated instruction using blended learning techniques, data-informed decision making, and collaborative engagement with students.
• Evidence: 100% employment of preservice teachers currently still employed.
• Incorporated instructional techniques such as blended learning, cooperative learning, reciprocal teaching, guided reading, and various high effect size Hattie’s instructional strategies to 79 students identified for Early Invention and ESOL programs.
• Evidence: End of Course assessment showed a 95% pass rate for the 2023-2024.
• Evidence: Fall 2024 Star reading Winter benchmark 2024 data showed a 1.1 grade equivalent growth for 55 students.

• Evidence: Achieved the 10% pay bonus for performance ratings on teacher rating scale, and students growth model achievement with high growth and high achievement with 100% pass rate on the CRCT end of year assessment.
• Evidence: Designed and delivered effective data-driven instructional strategies to 62 students English Language Arts, including ESOL and minority student enrollment of 75% to achieve National Board Certification, the only teacher in the district of 711 teachers.
• Created and wrote three grants to implement Ron Clark and Kim Bearden’s motivational experiences, and an increase in reading with 100% approval of grants.
• Evidence: Team members of the Instructional Leadership team received a day at the Ron Clark Academy with grant funds. Team members then returned to deliver a motivational professional development to increase staff morale. 100% of teachers attended the professional development and used some of Ron Clark’s strategies within their classroom based on a post assessment of teachers interviews in 2014-2015.
• Evidence: Kim Bearden presented to the staff of Bascomb Elementary teachers in 2015 with use of Grant funds. 100% of staff attended the presentation after school.
• Implemented a school-wide reading initiative increasing average reading minutes per student by 50% for the month of February 2025.
• Evidence: partnered with teachers, parents, and community organizations to create the Love of Reading initiative to increase reading minutes per student. Data was collected weekly which showed an increase of average minutes read per student from 97 to 148 minutes weekly.
• Evidence: Initiated and coordinated a Family Reading Night for grades 5-6 to create partnerships between home and school by reinforcing the school curriculum allowing for event to become a yearly community outreach program from 2001-2004.
• Facilitated daily morning meetings with an anonymous check in system to create a positive classroom environment.
• Evidence: maintain proper class decorum and reduced of behavior calls with B-Teams with a 99% less calls in 2023-Present.
• Evidence: pre and post assessments of student surveys showed an increase by 98% of positive classroom environment of teacher support in 2022-2023.
• Created Social Emotional Learning lessons for 4th grade to foster collaboration and data informed decision making for CCSD Elementary teachers.
• Evidence: Was selected to be on the team of teachers in CCSD to meet and create lessons for SEL curriculum to build relationships with students across the county.
• Facilitated weekly PLC meetings to foster collaboration and data-informed decisions-making among fourth grade team.
• Evidence: PLC minutes indicated an increase of collaboration and data use in lesson planning and assessment creation.
