Martial arts

I am a Green belt in Tae Kwon Do, and was training to become a black belt. I spent 5 years of my life training, and educating my mind, and body, to be the very best it could be. Not only did I learn about self defense, but I learned all about building character. I trained with my husband, and my 3 children as a family, and together, we grew as a unit. We helped encourage each other to be the best people we could be by demonstrating respect and integrity at all times. Over the years, I noticed that my martial arts training has changed me as a person for the better. Not only by my demonstrating integrity, but being courteous and respectful, modest and unassuming, compassionate and sensitive, and more confident in my decision making and actions. I am also more aware of my surroundings, and focused on the task at hand. I am not currently training, but I must say that getting my black belt is still high on my list of goals and accomplishments that I wish to one day achieve.
