- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures in pre-op, intra-op, and PACU. In pre-op, I review medical histories, verify consents, take initial vital signs, and obtain IV access. In the OR, I set up the surgical room, prep patients for their procedures, ensure accurate documentation, send prescriptions, prepare biopsies, coordinate surgical supplies/equipment, and pass sterile instruments/supplies onto the field. I have circulated 200+ face and neck lifts, 3000+ upper and lower blepharoplasty cases, and 300+ Mohs reconstructive surgeries. In PACU, I assess airway, vital signs, pain levels, and overall post-operative status. In addition, I provide post-operative education and ensure understanding of recovery instructions.

- As a childcare provider/camp counselor I ensured the safety of children while in The Valley’s care. Additionally, I developed activity plans, communicated with parents, de-escalated emergency situations, completed day-to-day tasks, recognized and reported signs of child abuse/neglect, completed incident reports, and mentored new staff. Working on floor staff, I communicated with members, dealt with difficult patrons, and provided guidance for services. As a cafe associate, I provided customer service to gym members by taking orders, running the register, and making food/drinks. This experience has allowed me to adapt to a wide variety of people, situations, and environments.
