With an educational background in fashion design/business from FIDM, and experience in a variety of demanding industries such as fashion, apparel, and hospitality, I've gained the skills necessary to effectively navigate any given task. These experiences afforded me the opportunity to adapt by challenging myself, seeing where my strengths lie and where I wanted to grow. Particularly that of my knowledge of the fashion industry and how I could contribute to it beyond a singular application of my skills. It's through this process that I have been able to achieve some of my greatest successes, including; music video costume design, getting featured in an ad campaign for a UK based clothing brand, and even getting to lead design development of a clothing collection for manufacturing. While I take great pride in these accomplishments I am equally grateful for them instilling me with a strong sense of determination that has pushed me to continuously evolve and not confine myself to a singular role, a characteristic that has benefited my employers. I hope to bring this determination, as well as my creativity, to your team as I have truly found a sense of purpose amongst this industry and am dedicated to excelling in all the fashion industry has to offer. Personally speaking, I consider myself a very artistic person who enjoys exploring everything design related, particularly that of fashion. With an interest in both mens and women's fashion I'm more engrossed by the aesthetics of the alternative and exaggerated. Finding elements of unpredictability and the commitment to do something different quintessential to the development of my own work and goals. Being able to have my professional and artistic aspirations coincide through this industry has been a great privilege but not one that hasn't come without experience, both professionally and academically. It's my continued desire to learn and evolve alongside this industry that has allowed me to persist and why I am confident in saying that I contribute my absolute best in all I do and all I am given the opportunity to do.
