Account Manager

Commercial supervisor associate account manager / Senior Associate Account Manager/ Builder's Risk Account Manager

  • I was originally hired as the supervisor for the commercial associate account manager team
  • I was in charge of handling accounts for the Washington State and Oregon commercial teams
  • Worked with the construction, health care, food and manufacturing, real estate, and marine practice groups
  • I was in charge of handling account service needs and renewal prep work as well as post-binding needs and managing the team that processed these duties
  • Following this I was promoted to Senior associate account manager and then Account Manager with the Builder's Risk team
  • I am now in charge of managing client accounts as well as placing new policies and managing expirations project completions and marketing renewals for clients
  • I maintain close relationships with clients and underwriters to make sure coverages and clients are well taken care of
  • I currently manage the builder's risk needs for about 25-35 accounts that need Builder's Risk Coverage in the states of AK, WA, and OR

  • While I worked with the Rover team, I worked in the fraud investigation and booking assurance and claim department
  • While being a part of that department I handled fraudulent conversations and transactions that took place on the site
  • This department worked deeply with SQL and website transactions
  • Soon after I was promoted to their Trust & Safety department in which I was allowed to work on accident investigations and determine if a customer was entitled to financial settlements for veterinary needs, property damage, or medical payments for sitters or 3rd parties in case of any incidents taking place during a stay
  • The Rover guarantee is based on the same structure of insurance policies which assists customers when needed
  • While in this department, I had to deal with highly escalated customers
  • Being one of the only couple of people that was bilingual I was able to start the development of a whole Spanish department that would assist clients that need assistance in their preferred language
  • Initiated the development of a Spanish-speaking team
  • Assisted and developed the Stay Support team to assist in relocating pets during a stay if needed
  • Leader in the Social Committee where I created company events and handled a large budget for the year on events
