  • As being owner/operator, worked independently on ESP/Spooling side for 5 years. Was required to be on locations by certain times, no matter distance traveled. After arriving at location, it was team effort to complete the job at hand. Working efficiently with many different cultural and educational backgrounds.
  • Working in the ESP/Spooling business I had to be able to adapt to all the changing environments but also when certain things went wrong I had to think on my feet to get the job I had done.
  • While being self-employed safety and maintenance of my equipment was a top priority. Working on different locations came with going over the JSAs and having small safety meetings routinely after each arrival. Staying on top of certifications and safety training to keep myself and others educated helped me always stay safe.
  • To start the spooling side of things when tying into the electrical submersible pumps with the cable motor lead the field tech and I had to work together skillfully but also pay close attention to detail. After tying it in I would have to band the cable to the tubing and work on the rig floor throughout the day. Working quickly while banding I had to make sure it was done correctly over and over as I would put on anywhere from 800 to 1200 bands a job.
