My task here is to do local LTL pick-ups, and some swaps. We service all of Southern California. I travel as far north as Ventura County and as far south as San Diego. The freight we would pick up was mostly furniture, all floor-loaded. The first year at this company, I was the yard goat driver, and then I got promoted to a local LTL driver. Ive been doing that ever since Nov. 2021 to

present.

• Utilized GPS navigation systems for efficient routing.
• All I drove was dry 53-ft trailers.
• My endorsements are tankers, Hazmat, and TWIC card.
• Monitored load security throughout trips.
• I also have experience in driving sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• I can operate electric pallet jacks, both single and double.

My responsibilities were to operate a forklift, load, and unload trailers. I was also put in charge of pulling orders while using either a cherry picker or a reach lift. I would help in the shipping and receiving department.

• Received incoming shipments; verifying quantity, condition, labeling accuracy and conformance to purchase order specifications.
• Organized warehouse shelves and racks for efficient retrieval during order fulfillment process.
• Utilized RF scanner technology while moving stock within facility in order to maintain accurate inventory levels.

• Verified accuracy of incoming orders against packing slips before loading onto truck and trailer for shipment.
• Inspected loads prior to lifting to determine weight distribution and stability.
• Assisted in the loading and unloading of goods from trucks, containers and railcars using forklift.
• Followed standard work instructions accurately when picking, sorting, staging and scanning products.
• Complied with safety regulations at all times while operating heavy machinery like forklifts.
• Reported any damages or malfunctions of equipment immediately to supervisor and manager.
• Maintained accurate records of all inventory movements including deliveries, receipts and shipments.
