· Responsible for full construction field management of quality and GC’s on behalf of T-Mobile. Manage, review and approve all aspects associated with Construction Complete requirements for each Site. If there are combined projects, it will be considered one project Site. This includes, but is not limited to:
1. Construction Scheduling & Crew Management
· Construction Manager will be responsible for the completion of the Project & any day-to-day communication & remote, or on site, management of field resources supporting the completion of the Project.
· Construction Manager will be the Subject Matter Expert on the site’s scope of work and understand, in full, the expectations of the field resource required to complete Project.
· Construction Manager will identify in advance any potential and foreseeable change-order and inform TPM immediately of said risk and will never give approval for a change-order without the written approval from the T-Mobile TPM.
· Construction Manager will immediately escalate any risks to timely project delivery, or any other notable issues, directly to the TPM.
· Construction Manager will frequently engage with site landlords or representatives and will represent T-Mobile with professionalism.
· Supplier will supply a lead CM to manage and track all other CM activities, priorities, escalation, and general day to day management.
· Supplier will maintain ample CM staff, based on needed weekly run rate targets, to complete market objectives in a timely manner.
2. Site Walks and Site Visits
· Construction Manager is responsible for all related site walks and site visits including, but not limited to pre-construction walk, mandatory on site the first day of construction with the GC, site visits during construction/mid-construction, field acceptance and last day of GC presence on site. Multiple site visits are quirked - minimum of five CM site walks are required per site plus CM need to visit site and be responsible for field approving GC’s integration-ready status prior to site being marked construction complete and handed off to integration team.
· During Pre-App, Pre-Con, Telco, and Power site walks, the pre-determined site walk package information must be captured & documented. Upon completion, the site walk package must be immediately uploaded to Magenta Built.
· Site check in and checkout procedures must be followed, specifically, but not limited to, T-Mobile and Landlord site activity requirements.
· Construction Manager will produce pre-con redline CDs and provides GC access for equipment where needed.
· Construction Manager on site will complete the field acceptance form on their phones, an audit of the final condition of the site used to include in the site’s coherent close-out package.
· Construction Manager Partner with the GC and serve as first escalation point and help train and guide our GCs on installation and quality aspects of T-Mobile projects.
3. GC Score Card
· Construction Manager will be responsible for completing a review of the GC’s performance, per site, by completing the GC Score Card after construction is completed.
· Acorn Approvals – Supplier will be responsible for the acorn app GC site access approvals for all field work for the market. T-Mobile will provide Acorn app access to supplier approvers.
· CMs will open and close PUC locks for the GC’s access.
· Provide GC management and coordination for daily update, site issue and site construction progress
· Conduct pre-construction walk / Field acceptance with General Contractors
· Responsible on Pre- Construction site walk to verify existing lay out, equipment, power and antennas works.
· Responsible for identifying all technical aspects of the telecommunications equipment to be scoped for a deployment at assigned job/sites and is the decision maker on all issues falling under the position’s scope
· Creating and documenting the Scope of Work (SOW) / COP closed out packages such as RFDS, sweep test, RLCD, Azimuth report, MDT photo, RAD center
· Understanding Cell Site Construction Drawings, Radio Design Frequency Sheet (RFDS), Structural Design Elements and Structural Modification requirements
