- Initially supported continuing model shop operations until being relocated and integrated into a high volume machining factory at BSCI's Arden Hills campus.
- Projects included Process development and machine operations on a GF/AgieCharmilles Cut 1000 Oil Tech wire EDM running 30µm (.0012") wire.
- Applications and process development (CNC programming, fixture design and build, setup, and initial operation) on vertical machining centers with intent to take development parts to medical device production.
- 2 day one on one training on Citizen lathes for high volume low mix medical device production in a 'Machining Factory'. Produced hundreds of pacemaker parts a day/hour depending on work center.
- High volume production is not my forte. Resigned and moved to Colorado to pursue exciting opportunities in aerospace and multi-axis machining.
