Hey there! I'm Rich Butler, a dynamic Human Resources Executive, Entrepreneur, Consultant, and Coach with over 20 years of leadership experience. I have a solid background in business operations, and evolved into a strategic leader known for developing innovative business and talent strategies that drive rapid growth.
I've had the privilege of helping build the third-largest pizza company in the world, boasting an annual revenue of 2.5 billion dollars and a diverse workforce of 120,000 company and franchise team members. From my experience in operations to human resources, I’ve developed a unique ability to connect talent and business strategies, recognizing that an organization's most valuable asset is its people.
Throughout my journey, I've led the creation and management of some pretty cool HR and workforce programs from the ground up. Many of those programs spanned across all HR functional areas with a handful becoming industry game changers. My functional areas of expertise, which I’ve established over time are Talent Acquisition, Organizational Effectiveness, DEI, and L&D. I’ve also led the HRIS, HRBP, and Total Rewards functions at one time or another.
For the past 5 years, I had the opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor to the C-Suite and board during one of the most significant business transformations in history. This experience helped me hone my strategic workforce planning, acquisition, organizational effectiveness, training, leadership development, diversity, equity, inclusion, and culture transformation skills.
I'm proud to say I've led process improvement and business strategy projects that have significantly increased efficiency, revenue, and customer satisfaction across a fully integrated global enterprise. As a result, my expertise has given me a competitive edge in the franchise, hospitality, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, and tech industries. Every industry that’s involved in delivering a better pizza to consumers around the world.

As a former Operations Leader who grew into an HR Executive, my mission is to connect talent and business strategies to unlock an organization’s full potential through its number one asset, people. I have a proven track record of leading the development and execution of innovative HR and workforce programs, talent acquisition, learning and development, and implementing guest experience initiatives across 49 countries. I have also facilitated the onboarding, training, and development programs for all new franchisees worldwide. Led process improvement and business strategy projects that increased efficiency, revenue, and customer satisfaction, offering a competitive advantage in the franchise industry and hospitality concepts. I currently utilize my executive-level leadership skills and experience as a consultant and coach to leaders and organizations in various stages of growth. I am open to accepting offers to work with another organization in similar roles or something more aligned to the next phase of my career in a C-Suite level position for the right opportunity.
