  • Built a performance monitoring tool for teams in Walmart to help them be more proactive about upcoming issues in their system
  • When the VM hits any of the user defined thresholds it takes a detailed snapshot of the current state of their JVM and the VM and posts it to elasticsearch and sends the teams a notification
  • Teams can then query data from elastic search to help proactively mitigate problems in their system before they become an issue in production
  • I used Performance co-pilot for VM monitoring and Alibaba's Arthas for JVM monitoring and snapshot.
