Accomplishments
I have been a member of local 483 sprinklerfitters for 12 years. During that time i successfully completed the five year apprenticeship. I have learned countless piping and management skills pertaining to the piping industry. I was taught valuable skills such as brazing, soldering, working with plastics such as cpvc. I successfully completed the star mastery exam, that being the industries most challenging test and certification to obtain. Also i have completed the ASSE certification, that entails 40hrs of class work and a rigorous test that includes 10 code books. This is important because it clearly demonstrates my ability to navigate multiple code books as well as retain information that they pertain to.The ASSE certification can be used in many trades as it details proper customer service techniques as well.

Star Mastery: The most advanced test offered to workers in the sprinkler field includes all code books and is a closed book test involving all.
ASSE 15010 Certified: 40 hr class and test that involves all code books pertaining to fire systems. Including installation, testing, and maintenance.
Aerial Scissor Lift/ Boom lift: I have spent many hours safely operating aerial platforms when the job calls for it.
OSHA Train the Trainer Disaster Response
Soldering and Brazing: Attended numerous classes at the union hall and performed whenever needed in the field.
Advanced fire pump acceptance and maintenance
Gradall Certification: Was a part of loading large amounts of pipe and fittings safely and effectively into worksites of all sizes and specifications. This involves overhead steel bundles of up to 21' and up to 8' diameter underground piping as well.
