Set up future jobs while machine was operating. Adjust machine feed and speed, change cutting tool, confer with supervisor to resolve machine malfunctions, load machine controller to retrieve programming instruction, align and secure tools, attach fixtures and work pieces on machine using hand tools, check to insure that work pieces were properly lubricated and cooled during machine operation, maintain machine and remove and replace broken and worn machine tools, listen to machine detecting sounds made by dull cutter or excessive vibration, and lift pieces to machine with hoist or manually.

Coordinating operations and activities within and between departments, motivate employees to increase moral with performance incentives, support HR with recruiting and hiring recommendations, enforce safety and housekeeping, coordinate work flow and evaluate individual performance, license between management and employees to resolve complaints or grievances.
