NYS CERT members are dedicated volunteers who undergo a training program that provides basic response skills needed for fire safety, light search and rescue, community disaster support, disaster medical operations, cell extractions, riots within the correctional facilities.

• Supervised inmates during all activities and transfers to monitor compliance and implement corrective actions.
• Reduced inmate altercations by maintaining consistent enforcement of rules and regulations.
• Supported successful emergency response efforts by participating in regular drills and training exercises.
• Enhanced facility safety by conducting thorough security checks and monitoring inmate activities.

• Set up and break down banquet events
• Supervise thirty employees within three separate food outlets/ kitchens
• Schedule and monitor employee breaks and attendance
• Oversee employees to ensure all work is conducted efficiently
• Assist in cleaning equipment or food preparation when necessary

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order
• Remove disruptive guests when necessary
• Monitor surveillance cameras to ensure the safety of the guests
• Identify guests and check appropriate documents such as identification cards and passports
• Protect cash and chip transfers to and from various sections of the casino

• Provide hands on care to individuals in a day rehabilitation facility
• Prepare and serve meals, as well as feed individuals when necessary
• Follow proper procedures for lifting, moving, and toileting
• Transport individuals to and from desired locations
• Perform routine tasks under the supervision of registered nurses

• Assist general manager in interviewing, hiring, orienting and assessing team members
• Ensure product quality and customer service are priorities
• Manage shifts, set goals, cash out shifts, count inventory, count safe/ drawers, and monitor labor
• Perform opening and closing duties such as preparing cash deposits, delegating tasks, and opening or closing the restaurant
• Complete all tasks on checklist by the end of the shift
• Oversee shift manager, assistant manager

• Arrive on time for all shifts and stay until shift completion
• Ensure quick service, especially during peak hours
• Maintain cleanliness in food service area
• Operate cooking equipment such as broiler and fryers
