  • Manage 4 operational programs within the fire department. Technical Rescue/Hazmat, Truck companies, Dive program, Rescue climbers. This includes onboarding new members, re-currency training, new equipment purchases, and expansion of services.
  • Manage a team of 8 to train 75 Squad Technicians, 338 Truck qualified, 198 Divers, and 90 Rescue Climbers.
  • Grew Special Operations budget from $883,000 in FY21 to $2.4 million in FY24
  • Respond to high-risk technical rescue and hazardous material calls acting as on-scene liaison to command staff.
  • Oversee the regional asset Mutual Aide Radio Communications team (MARC).
  • Manage federal SHSP and UASI grants.
  • Liaison to Task Force 4 Urban Search and Rescue team
  • Expanded dive program by doubling the number of dive-capable units
  • Expanded the rescue climber program growing the team from 60 to 90.
