Activities

  • Odyssey of the Mind, 2013-20, Team captain for a team of 7 students. Designed, created, and iterated on vehicles and mechanisms following competition guidelines. Mentoring future participating teams for the Sayreville War Memorial High School.
  • 3D Printing Club, Technician for the club, processing requests from club members submitted via G-Suite. Operated & upgraded CR-10 printers, for overall workflow process improvement. Participate in club design competitions and team building activities.

Projects

Custom Scale Design project involving 3D printing, lathes, mills, and laser cutting to manufacture parts program an Arduino controlled precision scale. Scale included an LCD display, Load Cell, LED light, and buttons for unit conversions and taring. 3D Printing Monitoring System, Worked to create a real time, AI controlled, control system for the Ender 3 v2 printer. Used AI Image recognition to detect failures in parts being printed. Utilized Roboflow to train and test AI model and OctoPi software to connect to the printer. Utilized a Raspberry Pi to control the printer, webcam, and connection to the host computer. UROV (AUV) project involving CAD design, construction of the craft, and operated an underwater remotely operated vehicle created with PVC tubing, laser cut acrylic sheets, and custom 3D printed propellers. UROV was designed to be able to secure debris underwater and return to the surface. Various other projects pertaining to a wide range of skills and capabilities.
