• Duties included: Managing and overseeing Scheduling for Students to assure that Graduation, College Admission, Individualized Educational Plans, Accommodations for Disabilities, NCAA, preference program, academic and personal were being accommodated addressed and met.
• Developed individualized education plans to support student academic and emotional growth.
• Facilitated workshops and dialog on college readiness and career exploration for students and parents.
• Collaborated with teachers and administrators to identify student needs and implement interventions.
• Provided crisis intervention services, assisting students in managing personal and academic challenges.

• Revised and developed district-wide 504 policy and procedures around 2008 and again 2009 with Counseling with District Counseling Supervisor
• Served on the District committee that developed the Harassment, Intimidation Bullying Policy for the district complying state and national regulations and requirements
• 2005-24 - managed and maintained the Tacoma School District's Running Start Handbook overseeing Course Equivalence guide, Policy and procedures, and acted as a liaison with area Community and Technical Colleges in regard to the Running Start program

Helped students complete admissions applications and pursue scholarships to fund education at state, private and vocational schools.

Supported emotional well-being of students through individual counseling sessions addressing personal challenges and concerns.

• Duties Included: Scheduling to assure that all student's graduation, course, personal, Individual Education Plan, accommodation for disability, NCAA and program preference needs were met
• Secured funding for and implemented a year-long four-part Cultural awareness and community outreach program that focused on cultural awareness, direct interaction and sharing. Each event events included guest speakers (Native American, African American, Hispanic, and Jewish (holocaust survivor)) and dinner. The Spring culminating event for the series was a community-wide Cultural fair.
