• Drove vehicles to and from work sites and maintained clean driving record.
• Productive member Snow Plowing/Salt spreading crews (all shifts). Followed instructions, logged completed areas for every shift. Used skid steer to load trucks with salt.
• Cutting grass on various city lots with a zero turn mower. Trimming curb lines and edging trees/hills with a weed eater/push mower. Following instructions, routes, and schedules to cut certain areas. Delegating the work to part time employees on a daily basis.
• Grinding Stumps; Operating a stump grinder. Maintaining a safe work environment/job site by putting out safety cones; wearing proper PPE. Keeping log of completed stumps and reporting it to the city Forester every week. Removing and hauling away all wood chips with a Grapple Truck (truck 94).
• Continuing on call availability with the Forestry Department assisting with tree removals. Using heavy equipment regularly (Crane truck 52), Brush Chippers, Grapple truck (94). Using chainsaws, rigging equipment safely. Working efficiently with the Tree Trimmer and Forester.
• Working with the Sanitation Dept cleaning up branches in various alleys and lots. Hauling away/exchanging dumpsters as needed. Hauling away illegally dumped trash/overspill. Working with Sanitation Crew Leaders and Laborers during bulk trash pickup weeks. Operating trash trucks safely/performing daily maintenence of equipment. Operating trash compacter.
• Working with Parks Department when needed- hauling away brush and limbs with heavy equipment.
• Filling potholes with asphalt crew. Driving to get loads of asphalt from the yard on Midland when asphalt truck (51) needs a load. Familiar with the weighing process and keeping track of invoices.
• Delegating/ communicatingthe daily work tasks with part time and full time employees throughout the year. Reporting completed tasks to my Supervisor and Deputy Supervisor.
