  • Developed and implemented real-time data interpretation and communication strategies for field investigations.
  • Mentored junior geologists by sharing expertise and providing guidance on project tasks, fostering a supportive work environment.
  • Contributed to the development of new exploration targets through rigorous data evaluation and synthesis.
  • Implemented quality control measures to ensure consistency and reliability in collected data sets during fieldwork assignments.
  • Conducted comprehensive geophysical interpretations for accurate subsurface characterization and resource estimation.

COMPRENSIVE SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC PROJECTS WORKED:

  • Valence East Texas Smackover: Generated new prospects utilizing Extensive subsurface well data and reprocessed legacy 2D seismic to supply feedstock for Valence’s Como Plant from 1997 to 2012. Total of 9 discovery wells drilled producing 30.7 BCF and 1.75 MMBC from 6 different fields in Rains, Hopkins, Wood and Franklin Counties, Texas. 40.4 BCF and 2.43 MMBC PDP reserves added.
  • Como-Yantis Rodessa: Generated and developed Rodessa oil play in Hopkins and Wood Co., Texas from 2000 to 2020. Created a unique approach to unlock resources in a tight, discontinuous sand and lime sequence by shifting from low reserve vertical drilling pattern to extended reach horizontal wells optimally spaced with multiple fracture stimulations. Approximately 7000 acres were leased and 7 vertical producing wells drilled. 6 additional wells were re-entered or recompleted and 10 extended reach horizontal wells drilled. 1.2 MMBO and 3.3 BCF produced to date. 3 MMBO and 10 BCF PDP reserves added. Multiple additional PUD locations.
  • Upshur County Haynesville/Gilmer Lm. And Cotton Valley Sand: Developed western extension of Cedar Springs Field from 2005 to 2007. 7 new wells drilled with 9.3 BCF and 56 KBO produced to date. PDP reserves of 11.5 BCF and 68 KBO added. Multiple additional PUD locations identified.
  • Hopkins County Paluxy: Recommended a successful and lucrative producing property purchase of Ardis & Leggett Paluxy Field in 2011. This field was on stripper well staus when purchased. Creative and acurate structure maps were generated leading to 3 new wells drilled producing 200 KBO to date. 400 KBO PDP reserves added. Multiple additional PUD locations.
  • Eagleville (Eagleford – 1): Principal geologist involved in developing Valence’s Eagleford play in Atascosa and McMullen Co., Texas from 2012 to 2020. Leased over 5500 acres and drilled 16 wells producing 2.5 MMBO and 3.5 BCF to date. 4 MMBO and 6.7 BCF PDP reserves added. Multiple additional PUD locations identified.
  • Smith County Goodland Lm.: Participated in the genesis and development of the Girlie Caldwell Goodland Lm. Field in Smith Co., Texas. Thus far 6 exploratory wells have been drilled with promising results. This play is confidential and in the early development stages.
  • Other: From 1997 to 2020 I have extensive experience working all Valence properties in an exploration and exploitation capacity.

In the East Texas Basin I have expertise in the following plays: Smackover, Haynesville/Bossier, Gilmer Lm., Knowles Lm., Cotton Valley Taylor sand, Cotton Valley Maddox sand, Travis Peak, Pittsburg sand, Pettit, James, Rodessa (Young, Dees, Gloyd, Heard, Hill, Bacon Lm.), Glen Rose, Paluxy, Goodland Lm., Woodbine, Eagleford and Subclarksville.

I have worked Valence properties in the Anadarko Basin including the following plays:

Woodford, Granite Wash (Thirteen Fingers, Novi), Red Fork, Cleveland, Tonkawa.

In the Gulf Coast Basin I have expertise in the Pearsall, Bexar, Buda, Eagleford, Austin Chalk, Midway, Wilcox, Carrizo sand, Yegua and Frio-Miocene.
