  • Here I performed tasks such as taking orders from our members, frying, cooking, and salad making
  • Oversaw grill, stove, and oven, and cleaned equipment after every shift.
  • Maintained well-organized mise en place to keep work consistent.
  • Placed orders to restock items before supplies ran out.
  • Checked freezer and refrigerator prior to each shift to verify correct temperatures.
  • Handled and stored food to eliminate illness and prevent cross-contamination.
  • However most of the time I was up front helping take orders and in being upfront I was able to get to know each member personally and get to know them

  • At first I was simply on call help for events such as Easter, April Fools, etc
  • During this on call period we're I only helped out at events
  • Quickly reset and cleaned up tables after customers left to enable speedy turnaround and guest flow.

  • This summer was the very first job that I've ever had
  • At this job I learned how to make cement
  • As well as laying down and spreading asphalt
  • It was a variety of construction level activities
  • However besides the basic skills such as mowing and learning how to use different tools
  • What I truly got out of this experience was discipline and grit
  • Working hours under the scorching sun, whilst running around with tools and moving heavy material
  • Helped me form mental toughness and resilience that to this day has helped me in my day to day life
