Although I struggled academically, I take great personal pride in that I always persevered to overcome the obstacles in my way. Not least in my life's successes so far, I moved to the USA from the UK when I was 4 and eventually attained my citizenship. I have always enjoyed learning about world history and Jewish law. In 8th grade I realized what my work passion was and created a business plan for a cafe; I stay true to this dream. After graduating high school, where I played on the soccer team and won most improved player, I spent two successfull and happy years studying in Israel and navigating a new country on my own. While there, I gained a reputation for my baking and pancakes which I sold to fellow students. I've always made and maintained good friends easily, and I am a support and confidant to my siblings. During highschool I had a poem published in The Jewish Link, reflecting my way with words. I have forged lasting relationships with my teachers and educators, and continue to be involved in supporting and promoting my schools. Additionally I have volunteered at events for kids with disabilities and taken part in Aryeh Adventures, an inclusive teen travel camp, with resounding positive feedback.
