- Performed full penetration welds that were ultrasonically inspected by Certified Welding Inspectors.
- Carbon Arc Gouged to prepare full penetrated joints and remove run off tabs.
- Positioned and operated overhead cranes to move finished pieces to the paint bay following final inspection.
- Mark finished steel precisely in accordance with blueprint specifications.
- Manage storage room consumables and advise management on supply inventories to maintain proper quantities.
- Maintained welding machines, wire feeders, torch cutting equipment, grinding machines, and occasionally repaired worn overhead crane parts.
- Assumed Lead Welder and Inspector duties from March 2023 until my departure. Responsibilities included performing fitment and final inspections, and assiting new fabricators with blueprint reading.

- Performed GTAW welding on 16 gauge cold rolled mill steel for load centers, outdoor electrical socket covers, and housings for fire alarm panels.
- Punched holes in materials to be fabricated, and ground gasket surfaces on finished electrical covers.
- Loaded finished fabricated pieces into boxes and stacked onto pallets for shipment. Cling wrapped the load for shipping and printed required labels to complete the task for shipping to the sister facility for powder coating and final assembly.
