  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and test the following instruments and equipment:
  • Protective relays, to include electromechanical, solid state, and microprocessor relays, for T-T and T-D substations in compliance with Duke Energy and NERC Standards.
  • Substation Controls and Equipment to include circuit breakers (RMAG, Gas, Oil), Switches, Regulators, Transformers, Metering Transformers (CT, PT, CCVT), reactors, capacitor banks.
  • Conduct switching and tagging in operations remote locations to establish clearances, outages and to support restoration efforts.
  • Production and organization of documentation to include commissioning documents, NERC documents (RTS results, AC Validation, JPIs), ECRs, work orders, procedural guidelines, and field revising electrical prints.
