1 Year- Lead electrician on multiple rig pads at Conroe facility. Coordinate multiple task for the crew. Work closely with project engineers to complete jobs on schedule. Instruct crew in the proper installation of electrical wiring and termination of Amphenol plugs and receptacles.

2 Years- Responsible for electrical equipment and repairs to a Cyber land drilling rig; e.g., fiber and robbus communication systems and Siemens PLC-based controls, AC direct drive traction motors for mud pumps, draw works and top drive. Scheduled maintenance on all rig equipment and within the camps. Maintained records of all work performed and ordered all parts needed to maintain smooth operation. Worked closely with mechanics on day to day operation. Overhaul, maintenance and repairs of engines and motors.

5 Years- Preformed start-up and commissioning of electrical drilling equipment on land-based drilling rigs in the U.S., Ukraine, Australia, Africa and Russia. Performed start-up of Caterpillar generator sets, ensuring synchronization and load sharing though Woodward EGCP2 digital controllers. Established rig communication with fiber optic and profibus networks and integrated them though Siemens Programmable Logic Controller. Programmed drive data managers for Alstom variable frequency drives in each cubicle for the corresponding equipment; i.e., top drive, draw works, rotary table and mud pumps. Performed start-up of Cyber Chairs and Human Machine Interface computer system to control all drilling components and equipment. Powered up each drive and checked all safety controls, lockouts and interconnecting system components. Installed external wiring for new or upgraded automation system for Cyber Chair control, such as trip tank pumps and hydraulic pumping units. Ran equipment from chair and torque prove draw works, top drive and rotary table. Trained drillers to use equipment and taught rig electricians about the system. Programmed rig cameras and the rig phone service. Troubleshot system troubles and restored them to engineer design. Supervised personnel in wiring assembly of AC VFD and SCR DC drive systems used in the oilfield drilling industry. Engineered, designed, fabricated and installed piping systems for water-cooled VFD systems. Worked closely with mechanics on day to day operation.
