My job required me to take inventory of each item that came on base to confirm it was the correct product required. I would have to verify with the system that all labels were correct so it was able to be picked up and shipped to the correct storage facilities.

I was promoted to lead in the redirect department. I was responsible to take inventory of incoming product and confirm where/who it belongs to. I would have to search the database to confirm items were going to the correct location/person. If product was incorrect I would have to return to shipper and complete the process to get the correct product reshipped. I also would fill in as a Supervisor when needed. I was able to learn the requirements needed in order to become a good leader for my employer.
