This is one of the jobs I took in the offseason. I worked there for two seasons, and I loved that job. Unfortunately, it was not year-round; I was responsible for getting the camp ready for the season.
Collaborated with camp leadership, maintenance, and administration to identify and implement facility improvements.
I loved this company and the people who worked there. I operated a CNC peener that made cell phone transmitters/receivers. It was a specialty operation, and I was given my own area to work. I worked 12-hour shifts six days a week. They eventually brought someone else in to work the other twelve hours. I did this for months and eventually it gave me problems with my hands so I had to stop. The other operator ended up needing surgery, so they had to change the entire process. I ended up leaving to start at another company that made networking software as a network engineer, which is what I went to school for.
Operated Bridgeport mill and CNC milling machine to produce precise components.
Loaded raw materials into machines according to specified measurements.
Monitored machine feed and speed during machining processes for optimal performance.
