• I started as a metal fabrication model maker per my background. A few years later was promoted to shop supervisor, which I ran for approx. 13 years. During that time as supervisor, I also did design work on projects that came into the shop that needed that attention. After that I worked in full time product design position. Doing model modifications to product structures, robotic weld cell fixture builds, testing setups, and equipment, small stamping dies and tooling, to help the fabricators. Basically any design work that was requested from engineering. Also mentored all of the interns as they came thru to help them on there journey.

Duties consisted of manufacturing of prototype sheet metal parts/assemblies, which included all aspects of metal model making from raw stampings to finish parts and assemblies.

Duties consisted of hammer forming, layout and fabrication of prototype parts and assemblies, from start to "Body in White". During fabrication, interface with customer for design input/problem resolution.
