Performs Material Supportability Planning and Analysis for Project and Shop Workloads. Provides comprehensive and effective material management support of material maintained and processed through DLA and Air Force Supply systems. Provides material support for particular projects, established work operations, and/or programs.
• Provide the face to the customer on a wide range of issues involving DLA managed Air Force items meeting the customer’s schedule, ensuing the timely processing for the life cycle of their customer requisitions.
• Incorporated individual supply plans at a strategic level for overall program planning and execution with a broad working knowledge of statistical planning.
• Analyzing customer forecasting requirements using Depot Supply Chain Management Analysis Tool (DSCM-AT). Comparing the customers End Item (E/I) Schedule, Frequency Factor Percentage (FF), Quantity Per Assembly (QPA) and SRAN Monthly NIIN Requirement verses the DLA historical demand history, statistical forecast or collaborated quantities to identify trends to determine accuracy for assigned items.
• Analyze the DLA historical data of the National Stock Numbers (NSN) and coordinate between the DLA Demand Planner (DP), Air Force Demand Forecast Specialist (DFS) and the Maintenance (MX) Planner to help develop a strategic forecast for items that demonstrate unusual patterns.
• Work with the AF on Electronic Change Request (ECR) for items on the Impresa Bill of Material (BOM) and manual update to the 5M BOM when the analysis has determined that a review is necessary.
• Analyzes supportability planning documents and develops strategy to ensure necessary material is available.
• Request review and updates be made in DSCM-AT through the AF DACM-AT support team.
• Communicate with our Customer Support Managers (CSM) when all sustainment options have failed, and we will not be able to meet our anticipated customer requirements.
• Meetings with the AF MX Planner to address anticipated changes in the customers requirement.
• Worked with Prime Vendors to ensure supply plans will meet future needs.
