When on underground drill crews,

• Drive CDL equipment, including drill and support trucks, safely between job sites while complying with all DOT and company safety regulations.
• Support the foreman and drill operator with daily setup, breakdown, and operation of underground electric drilling operations to minimize downtime and keep production moving.
• Stage materials, tools, and equipment in advance so crews can work continuously without waiting for parts, tools, or rigging.
• Assist with locating utilities, handling conduit and wire, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site.

When helping on line crews,

• Volunteered to assist overhead crews whenever manpower was short, consistently stepping up when needed.
• Supported foremen and linemen with material handling, tool management, and job site preparation to keep overhead work on schedule.

Followed all safety procedures around energized lines and equipment while paying attention and learning overhead construction practices.

• Built new strand on poles and installed required hardware for aerial plant we were working in.
• Lashed coax, copper, and fiber on strand or overlashed, while maintaining proper clearances and tension.
• Operated bucket trucks and followed all safety and traffic control procedures.
• Climbed poles with gaffs when poles were in easement or bucket couldn't reach.
• Set poles and down guys using digger derrick equipment and hand tools.
• Responded to emergency work to restore communication service in unsafe or time‑critical conditions.

• Set up and broke down drill rig and support equipment for underground communication work.
