Work History

Owner/Remodel Contractor

Self Employed
05.2011 - Current
  • 2001 Remodeled 1,200 sf condo on Lake Sammamish, Redmond, WA.
  • Removed drywall, and replaced all the wiring throughout with a new electrical panel.
  • Moved the stacked washer and dryer from the kitchen to the second floor next to the bathroom, over the staircase in a new enclosure - engineered how this move would be accomplished
  • Designed a new full bathroom on the first floor where there was a half bath, replaced the wall with translucent glass brick to let light into the staircase. The new bathroom now had a beautiful shower with a floor that drained at the shower, and a toilet. The bathroom sink was added to where the stacked washer and dryer use to be.
  • The upstairs bath was redesigned with a new larger window that overlooked a triangular soaking tub, so you could see the lake while you were taking a bath or shower. The floor was white marble, and the marble encompassed the tub, and the walls. A new sink was installed, and closets for cleaning supplies.
  • In the den, installed a skylight that opened, and french doors to make it another bedroom
  • New floor coverings were installed throughout the condo: carpet, sandstone entry way, and marble in the bathrooms, and ???? in the kitchen.
  • A coat closet was added in the entry way next to the fireplace, and there was a place at the top of the closet for a TV to be viewed from the living room.
  • 2001 Remodeled our Redmond, WA, one-bedroom rental condo by shoring up the floors to make them level, installing a new kitchen with new appliances, and new floor coverings.
  • 2004 Designed a wood valance in the living room of our Virginia Beach home for a 100" electric projector screen to be placed. Plus the location for the projector under the walkway on the second floor. This enclosed the walkway for all the cables to the projector, and still provided lighting in the entry way.
  • 2012 Designed and built an small deck/staircase using a single concrete building form tube for support, and treks decking lumber
  • 2015 Hired general labor and managed the project to install two french doors on each side of the living room fireplace, and paint the outside of our house and trim
  • Also, designed and managed the creation of a stone wall in the northwest corner of our property, closing off a rose garden area
  • 2019 For our new home in Texas, designed the landscaping for a large lot, leveled the lot by adding new soil and add new grass. Had three stone enclosed garden beds, one in the front yard, and two in the back where approximately 30 Italian Cypress trees where planted
  • On the second floor of the home, enclosed the family room from the staircase, installing a privacy door, so that they upstairs could be used as a separate one-bedroom apartment.
  • 2021 Redesigned the exterior of our home replacing and relocating windows, tearing off the siding, and replacing the siding to real stucco, upgrading the total look of the home.
  • Redesigned the fencing and gates to the back yard, hired a fence company to install all the new products
  • Also, added french-doors at the entrance to the two smaller bedrooms that shared a bathroom, allowing them to have additional privacy from the main part of the house.
  • 2022 In Virginia Beach home, created additional gardens: A Japanese garden in the front yard with five Arborvitae evergreens, a Black Pine, and two Chocolate Mimosa trees, ground cover and plenty of large stones to hold all the soil in place
  • On the side of our home, a new garden was installed with four Hollywood evergreens, a Crepe Myrtle tree, ground cover and also large stones making it look natural
  • 2024/2025 Remodeled a Linkhorn Bay Penthouse Condo which included the following upgrades:
  • New stone tile installed in the kitchen in entryway
  • New stone countertops in the kitchen
  • New Cafe appliances installed
  • New lighting above and below the kitchen cabinets
  • New carpeting and all walls and ceilings painted
  • New HVAC unit installed for heat and air conditioning
  • New water heater installed
  • New plumbing in the kitchen, and off the water heater to handle a water serge
  • Maintenance of the living room slider door, replacing the rollers
  • Upgrading the ceiling lighting in the kitchen and all bathrooms
  • Upgrading the ceiling fans in all rooms
