- As Operations Manager it is Richard’s responsibility to ensure all incoming material is received in a timely manner and to coordinate a staff of eleven team members ensuring that all processes are followed properly which includes receiving material and locating material in its correct area in the warehouse.
- Duties:
- Ensuring orders are pulled correctly and delivered in a timely manner
- Making sure all associate training is current
- Ensuring all drivers are DOT compliant with licenses and medical cards etc.
- Making sure all of our fleet of 8 delivery vehicles are maintained and operated under strict DOT guidelines
- Handling time sheets for warehouse associates which includes approving and scheduling vacations and sick time.
- Managing all work schedules to ensure all monthly wire counts, shelf life reports, and vehicle and forklift inspections are documented and filed in the proper time and in the correct file locations.
- Manage all aspects of inventory control, approving material returns to our warehouse and to outside vendors.
- Performing additions to stock or deductions from stock for a number of reasons. These include damages, stolen property, over shipments etc.
- Run and control yearly audit of entire inventory (of nearly $7,000,000 in material)
- Handling hiring processes and onboarding for new associates.
