I am from a small town near Athens Georgia, called Oconee County. I am a currently a Sophmore at Clemson University who is interested in attending law school for either corporate law or criminal defense. I am a hardworking student, who has great leadership skills and is a very quick learner.
I met with and questioned a superior court judge while attending two big cases (The first of witch spanned several weeks and the second which lasted 5 days) during the summer of 2022. I attended the trial every day and asked the defense attorney and Judge Haggard questions about the process and what was happening. I was also able to speak with the magistrate judge, when given the opportunity, to question him about preliminary trials and day to day work as a magistrate judge. During this process I was in contact with multiple lawyers who helped me understand the law and what the day to day life of a lawyer is.
I attended a preliminary trial in 2020 where I followed the magistrate judge around for the day. After thee trial ended I went back to the judges office and asked him questions about why he did what he did and what some legal terms meant that i had written down because I did not know them.
I worked for my highschool in a society called 17, in this program we were given the task to show prospective students around the school and give tours along with representing the school as a whole in multiple events outside of the school. This is a prestigious position as only 17 students are chosen out the entire highschool and has a little over 200 applications per year.
I was a freelance video editor and videographer in highschool along with sports. My highschool hired me my sophmore and junior year of highschool to videograph and livestream graduations and other events around the highschool.
