  • Preston-Holmes was a large scale commercial floor covering contractor which my family owned and operated.
  • As a project manager I was in charge of bidding large scale projects such as Google, Facebook, Apple Computer and others. Typically these projects amounted to $3-$5 million each. Upon success of winning those bids I managed all aspects of the project including all material procurement, managing installation labor and upon completion of the project, manage billings and change orders with the client.

  • Established Fastek to benefit from my extensive Panasonic, Cookson and other SMT equipment vendor experience to procure pre-owned SMT equipment throughout the world, establish a refurbishment operation in the Bay Area and resell such equipment into the US, Asia and Mexico.
  • Assisted in numerous assembly operation buildouts in Korea and China providing both equipment and training to the support staffs in those countries.
  • Managed all aspects of the operation including asset procurement negotiations, transportation logistics and resale purchase price negotiations. Managed various contractor personnel involved in equipment refurbishment and line buildouts as required.

  • Lead technician supporting first generation SMT equipment from Panasonic and MPM.
  • Helped establish one of the first assembly operations to implement "no-clean" flux technology in wave solder technology and assisted in transitioning the company from a 35,000 board per month operation in 1988 to a 35,000 per day operation in 1995.
  • Promoted to manufacturing engineer in 1996 supporting equipment maint. operations through training and equipment vendor interactions as required during qualification periods.
