Booth Operator (In Elementary School Fair)
In the August of 2022, I was a Junior in Alief Taylor High School within the Alief Asian Cultural Club where I attended as one of the member. There was two events in seperate school, one in Youngblood Elementary School and an another within the Mahany Elementary school. Throughout the afterschool, I assisted with helping the staffing team in teh school to help with the Autumn festival in the Youngblood Elementary school by operating with a booth in festival and one within Mahany Elementary school with their Winter festival. Throughout the time by volunteering, I have learnt the skill of swirching schedule based on duty that the booth needed, such as with the Autumn festival, I was apart of the 'Scary' hallway where the young children would follow behind me and there would be various haunting actor within the festival where they would be awarded with a treat, which prompt me to switch to an another booth where I would be creampied by various of people, having cream all over my face and clothes. All of the booth were paid by tickets which could be turnt in or be used to purchase food, but all staffing were provided with a free food ticket. In conclusion, I learned management of current based with the ticket, operation of a role by managing professialism and keep the guest in a fun and entertained mood along with able to keep myself in certain area or points for timing, and adapting to unfamilar tasks that would be given to me by management, which were the adminstratior of the school or the event host.
