Conducts routine and complex inspection of construction projects, inspecting materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.

Provided technical direction and recommendations to less experienced engineering staff.

Maintains budgets for Agency inspection

Obtains proposals for and oversees Agency contract consultant inspectors.

Performs water sampling for newly constructed facilities. Ensures testing procedures follow all applicable AWWA and NPDES requirements.

Enjoys a valley wide positive working relationship with various developers, contractors, city inspectors/engineers, engineering firms.

Serves as the field project manager coordinating all needs of the project across any and all necessary departments.

Hosts pre-construction meeting and weekly progress meetings as necessary.

Inspect construction projects ensuring all applicable standards were followed.

Trained and helped oversee dig alert utility markers.

Was the point of contact for all after hours emergencies from 2011 - 2015.

Maintained all Valencia water facilities in the street(i.e. not behind curb) from 2011 - 2015.

Ran the valve exchange program from 2011 - 2015. Helped maintain the budget. Picked which valves to change out and ran the crews during repairs.

Performed general repairs on the distribution system.

Read meters.

Maintained chlorinators at well sites.

Marked underground service alerts.

Performed general customer service i.e. move in/out reads, complaints, hanging door tags, etc.
