I supervise 15 employees and interpret and explain city policies and regulations. I am aslo involved in the interview process and selection of applicants. I evaluate, discipline, hire, terminate and motivate an employee's performance. I perform payroll duties, answer radio calls and respond to requests and inquiries of general public. I respond to and acknowledge fire panels, fire alarms and trouble alarms. I coordinate and direct building maintenance including the oversight of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and related systems for buildings and facilities. I attend management training, recommend and implement goals and objectives for building maintenance coordination. I am able to communicate clearly and concisely to tenants, contractors and other government agencies. I attend meetings with upper management, safety officials and contractors regarding safety, security, disaster preparedness, emergency evacuation procedures and everyday functions of a building maintenance program.
