Millwright Mechanic/Conveyor Installer

Axcon Corporation
  • Read prints and detailed drawings for steel structures (mezzanine)
  • Ran belts, laced them and tracked them
  • Found my centerlines and endos, by measuring and finding your baselines.
  • Run header steel and hang drops
  • Fabricate Beds and side guard
  • Rigging conveyor


Conveyor Installer

Intelligrated Systems
  • Installed their conveyor (bolt up) at Target
  • We first went in and built mezzanine
  • Measured off column line and found centerlines/endos
  • Found crates with the appropriate conveyor
  • Set legs to appropriate height and also used a crane to lift individual pieces of conveyor.
  • Certification on small cranes
  • Lace and track belts
  • Rigging conveyor

Electrician

Siemens Electric
  • Ran conduit, mounted 4 inch boxes by devices or where devices were going by the prints
  • Pulled wire, terminating devices in the boxes and in cabinets
  • Once powered up, checked rotation of motors, set photo eyes and proximity switches on sorters.
