Summary
God saved my soul on July 11, 1967, at Ponca Bible Camp. I knew I was a sinner, and I was eager to have my sins forgiven. At 16, God called me into the ministry.
Before I was 19, I was serving as youth pastor at Wellingtonplace Baptist Church, Wichita, and I have been serving ever since.
I have been blessed to serve under wonderful pastors, who mentored me, starting with Arnold Ensz, who took me under his wing while I was still in high school. I owe so much to so many. It is my desire to share what good men and women have poured into me.
The same is true of my wife. She has much to give, and we are a team. She was called to marry a preacher about the same time I was called to be one. We served together at the Dandelion, a street ministry in Wichita, KS, and enjoyed each other. We were married a year later.

- Served in the community through coaching, substitute teaching, youth ministry, food pantry, and assisted in the launching of Safe Haven (outreach to the poor).
- Launched the "War Room" for prayer and outreach.

- Served in the Evangelical Free Church for over twenty years and on the district board for Kansas and Nebraska for one term.
- Helped a church avoid a church split by assisting their reconciliation process as their senior pastor. A blessed by-product was God adding another 100 souls to the congregation.
- Served the above church as Senior Pastor for 17 years. God blessed us with a youth ministry to 300 kids (3rd Grade to 12th grade) on Wednesday nights.
- Served as evangelism and outreach trainer for Son Life for a few years (conducted two day seminars from Kansas to North Dakota).
- Served with Interim Pastoral Ministries helping churches evaluate their past, revitalize their congregation, and advise the select process of their next pastor.
