I would like to send this resume in to Common Arc to be considered for a proctor position. I believe I could be an asset to the program with what I have to offer.
I've started in the blue collar industry in 1977 as a certified welder, did my apprenticeship with the boilermakers and worked my way up through ranks up to the position of Coordinator. Which I will retire out of in July, 2017
While the Coordinator I organized Common Arc sessions for the last 12years.
If there is a reason I excelled through this business is because I have very good organization skills and good work ethic. Knowing that a mans reputation is only as good as his skills and abilities- I tried to reflect that in the work I always did in what ever position I held in my working years.
I do like to hunt & fish in the months of April-June and September-November
I started my apprenticeship in May , 1982. Worked in the field as a boilermaker, a welder, foreman, general foreman and union steward throughout the 50 state until May, 2004.
Which is when I accepted the roll as Apprentice Coordinator for Local 107 with the present business manager Blane Tom. Where I had the privilege to develop Local 107s apprentice program along with Blane and other instructors under my direction.
I've been in my position for 12 years where I'll be retiring in July of 2017
I started working for P&H cranes when I was a senior in high school on a co-op program, where I learned to weld and became certified in all processes before I graduated high school.
Worked full time as a heavy plate welder until I was laid-off in 1981 due to lack of work
