I am from the UK, I have my permanent resident card and a work permit.
I am a hardworking, dedicated and loyal person, I think 23 years at the same company backs this statement up.
Now I am ready for the next chapter in my career after being laid off from my my most recent employment.
I am a bit rusty in my solidworks/CAD skills as I used a custom plug in for the last 13 years. I am willing to be trained and do pick things up very quickly, please take this into account.
I strive to be challenged daily and I am always up for that challenge. I enjoy pushing myself to be the most efficient in what I do. I am a great communicator and I am nit afraid to voice my opinions when it is required. I work well in teams and I am also happy to work alone. I have great time management skills.
I started from a junior designer and worked my way uo through the pay grades to senior plus rail designer in just under 5 years ( the average is approx 7 years). Learning basic designs as a jr designer and passing my probationary period with flying colors, I then went on steadily progressing trough the next 4 levels learning and pushing myself to the top level. My last year in teh office in the UK before transfering to the USA, I was filling in for a team leader who was out.
I play pool in a local league with others. We are currently set to make it to the playoffs for nationals.
I also play the drums in in a local band called "Wicked West". We are on facebook. I enjoy this as the four of us have to work as a team to make th songs work, I feel we do this very effectively.
