• Assists with coordinating activities of staff involved in developing procedures, equipment, and techniques to solve tool-related problems.
• Assists in coordinating plant resources as required to resolve the safety, quality and throughput or cost issues related to tooling
• Generates and implements cost savings ideas to reduce tool cost/pc and/or reduce overall manufacturing cost.
• Participates in engineering design reviews and analysis to assure the manufacturability of the product.
• Identify product design improvements early in the design phase to facilitate manufactural products with the desired speed to market for manufacturing.
• Interface with production managers during the development phase to validate all steps of the manufacturing process.
• Participates in documenting tool trials using tooling run-off forms & checklists.
• Update CAD department with any revised/update tool drawings and documentation as required.
• Participates in reviewing of new tooling releases to ensure conformance to documented tooling standards.
• Attend regularly scheduled operations and team problem-solving meetings
• Support manufacturing in the resolution of tooling related issues such as high manufacturing costs, scrap rates and low production rates due to tooling related issues.
• Support cross-functional teams to achieve overall plant metrics
• Train and mentor Tool Room team members and assist in evaluating performance
• Other duties as assigned

• Develop, coordinate, and/or conduct job-specific and process training programs to ensure production teammates are trained on their job functions.
• Provide technical writing resources to ensure accurate Work Instructions are developed and maintained for all processes.
• Develop and administer technical skills training for hourly frontline employees through online, classroom, and on-the-job training methodologies.
• Manage the onboarding of newly hired hourly frontline employees.
• Provide coaching and guidance to hourly frontline employees throughout the training and qualification periods.
• Manage and participate in qualification assessments, re-qualification, and cross-training activities.
• Help drive the development of standardized jobs and qualifications, as well as an annual review and maintenance process.
• Ensure production teammates are trained on individual job functions and training is documented.
• Work closely with Operations and RSC Leadership, Warehouse Supervisors, and other business partners to ensure processes are accurate, documented, and changes are made and communicated.

• Quality knowledge SolidWorks and CAD programming Certified Crane Operating Certified PIT (Forklifts, pickers, hand cart)

• Uses tools and dies to build fixtures; creates dies as required to construct new fixtures.
• Repairs dies, molds, and tools when needed; disassembles molds, jigs, tools, and fixtures, then reassembles when repaired.
• Reads and understands blueprints and complicated schematics as required to create and build new fixtures, tools, and machine parts.
• Uses computer-aided design (CAD) software to create designs and/or turn designs into blueprints.
• Inspects completed tools and dies for signs of imperfection or damage that may affect functionality.
• Regularly tests all equipment, tools, and machines to ensure they are arranged and set properly and working efficiently.
• Modifies machines to control speed, material feed, or path of cut as required to ensure a quality product is produced within specifications.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Perform station leadership duties such as assigning flights for the day, scheduling and managing agents on a week-to-week basis

• Recognize and celebrate individual and team performance

• Monitor team activities, ensuring that each team member follows proper operational and safety procedures and customer service standards, and verbally coach and recognize agents to reinforce and improve behaviors

• Investigate operational, safety, and performance irregularities with focus on future prevention; Communicate findings and recommend improvements

• Ensure safe equipment operation, excellent housekeeping, cleanliness and organization in all work and operational areas

• Provide a comprehensive briefing and handoff to the next shift to ensure a seamless operation and overall benefit to the team and station

• Mentor station agents, both newly trained and experienced, in all station agent job functions

• Maintain curiosity, seek better ways to do things for ongoing improvement

• Other duties may include clerical functions, reports, and assisting with unexpected passenger needs or complaints
