Summary

Started working as a golf caddie while in high school at St Francis. I then played Junior A hockey for 2 years while working as a fuel clerk at Kroger. I turned down many NCAA D3 hockey scholarships as well as 1 NCAA D1 walk on to purse my professional career and life with my wife, as I knew college wasn’t going to be the best option for me. My family are in the trades and I have an uncle who is an electrician. I shadowed him for a week and knew that’s what I wanted for a career. I then got started in the electrical field as a warehouse worker at Laibe Electric, where I got familiar with materials and electrical tools. After that I wanted some hands on work and got an opportunity as a cable technician. I got familiar with low volt test equipment, troubleshooting, as well as fishing wires. I then finally found an electrical company that would put me through school while I worked, so I moved onto AE Electric, where I am currently employed as a journeyman electrician after completing my apprenticeship.
