- I've been testing disease processes from COPD Alpha-1, COPD type B, bronchiectasis, emphysema, asthma, ILD, IPF, pulmonary fibrosis, ALS, and cancer for about 10 years now.
- One year working with CareFusion PFT equipment, performing PFT exams.
- Due to growth, the lab updated to 5 MGC Medgraphics body boxes, 3 laptops, and 3 work areas, with 8 PFT technicians and a LEAD.
- Daily quality checks with a syringe and two dedicated devices for monthly quality checks with a syringe and biological checks.
- Protocol creation and lab updates were done with the approval of my leadership team.
- Coordinate shift problems with equipment, patient safety, communications to other medical staff at the hospital, or doctors' offices.
