Work History

Film Director

Self-employeed
10.2018 - Current

Oversaw post-production editing, special effects, music selection and performance's overall tone.

Teamed with other production staff to collaborate on final production products and project timelines.

Set budgets, travel itineraries and timelines and maintained call sheets.

As the director of a film, I am responsible for pre-production, principal photography and post-production.

I have produced all four of my feature-length films and both of my short films.

Responsibilities include: Hiring of all crew and cast, working with the 1st AD on scheduling and locations, working with the executive producers on budget and SAG paperwork, working as the lead in every department whether it was production assistants, wardrobe, makeup, etc. As the director, the buck starts and stops with me.

I also need to know the inner workings of each department so I can effectively communicate my vision to every department head in order to keep the film on budget, schedule and mission.

Finally, in working with talent, my degree in pastoral ministries/care and counseling comes in handy, as I have found that managing a team of Hollywood talent has more to do with caring to their needs of wanting to feel heard and seen, without allowing egos and personal preferences interfere with the workflow and overall tone of the set.
