boy scouts is a group of people getting together to help people when needed, go on group trips and collaborate as a team to camp, make food, clean up, and work with others really well to ensure a smooth camping trip. It also has helped teach responsibility because you need to complete merit badges and some can take up to 3-6 months at a time. We also do a lot of volunteer hours to help our community. It also has taught me leader ship since i am an older scout i help out with teaching the younger kids to complete tasks in their scout book.
